Katie is a member of the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario in Excellent standing. She completed her Undergraduate degree at UofT in Pharmacology/Toxicology program with Honors. She further pursued her second degree in Bachelor of Physiotherapy at University of Toronto.
After Graduation she started her career in Hospital setting where she had the opportunity to work in multiple wards such as Internal Medicine, Oncology, ICU, CCU, Fracture clinics and inpatient and outpatient orthopaedics. She has managed and triaged patients in the hospital’s fracture clinic treating patients with musculoskeletal issues from fractures, ligamentous sprain/strains, sports injuries and post-surgical rehab. During her career at the hospital she also managed to work at multiple private clinic settings from which she has gained extensive experience treating patients with MSK issues.
Katie has taken many postgraduate courses including Mckenzine certification, Level 2 manual Therapy and certification from Advanced Physical Therapy Institute. Katie has been dedicated to ongoing education and providing excellent patient care.
In her spare time, she likes to go hiking, travelling, swimming, or simply going for a walk with her fur baby.
