Emelia James is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) with a deep passion for helping others improve their health and well-being. She began her journey at Mohawk College, earning an Honours Diploma in Health, Wellness and Fitness in 2017, followed by an Honours Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy in 2019. Committed to lifelong learning, she went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and a third Honours Diploma in Health Promotion from the University of Guelph-Humber in 2023.
In addition to her professional registrations, Emelia is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She integrates her diverse background in massage therapy, kinesiology, and fitness to provide well-rounded, evidence-based care.
Her treatments may include Swedish Massage, Myofascial Trigger Point Release, Soft Tissue and Fascial Release, Cupping Therapy, and client education, all tailored to meet individual needs and support long-term wellness.
Outside of her practice, you’ll find Emelia reading, hitting the gym, and listening to personal development podcasts. She believes that small steps toward growth each day can create lasting change and looks forward to supporting clients on their unique wellness journeys at HLHC.
