Xiukui (Michelle) Wu
Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac)
Xiukui Wu graduated with honours from the Acupuncture program at Georgian College and is currently a Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Ontario (CTMCPAO).
Within her scope of practice, Xiukui provides traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncture and adjunct modalities which include but are not limited to: ear acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha (scraping), Tui Na massage, moxibustion, acupressure, etc.
Through her practice, Xiukui gained experience of combing TCM acupuncture with different techniques such as Tui Na massage and cupping modalities to treat chronic pains, headache, insomnia, anxiety, depression and digestive disorders. She also has special interests in neurological rehabilitation (e.g. post-stroke, spinal cord injuries) and gynecological condition (menstrual disorders, infertility). Xiukui is passionate about professional development and learning different skills, she recently gained her Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage and is waiting to write her board exams to be licensed.
