Registered Massage Therapist - Athletic Therapist
Josh graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2011, earning his diploma in Massage Therapy. Additionally, he has recently graduated from Sheridan College attaining a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy with Honours in 2019. He will be writing his national examination with the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association in June for his Athletic Therapist license.
He has also worked as a personal trainer for several years in the past. Josh has spent his career thus far working with a variety of demographics including; orthopedic injuries, chronic disease, post operative, motor vehicle accident, and sport injuries. Since then, Josh has gained extensive experience with sport injury rehab and team coverage as the head student therapist with High school wrestling teams, and Head Student Therapist at the University of Toronto’s Men’s Football team for the 2017-2018 season.
Utilizing his combined knowledge of Massage therapy, Athletic therapy, Personal training, and Martial Arts instruction. Josh strives to find and treat the underlying cause of dysfunction and empower his patients with the ability to adapt and overcome injury through exercise.
Growing up, he was a competitive soccer player, and also spent a lot of time playing rugby, volleyball, and track & field. Presently, his interest is in the active population, and sports injuries.
