Registered Physiotherapist - SFMA, NKT
Jordyn graduated from Dalhousie University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to complete the Master of Science in Physiotherapy program at McMaster University in 2013.
Jordyn started her physiotherapy career working in an outpatient hospital setting in remote northern Ontario. She gained valuable experience working with patients dealing with complex conditions including traumatic brain injury, diabetes, stroke, spinal cord injury and amputation.
Since returning south Jordyn has worked in the private sector, focusing on both acute and chronic orthopaedic injuries. She is dedicated to professional development and has taken advanced courses in acupuncture, hands-on manual therapy, NeuroKinetic Therapy and concussion management.
Jordyn combines her expertise in exercise prescription with hands-on manual skills to ensure that every facet of client care is being addressed.
She is passionate about sports and fitness and has worked at several sporting events including Pan Am soccer and the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association Provincial Championships. Jordyn played elite level hockey for 15 years and continues playing today. She also competes in endurance trail running and is very experienced at treating running related injuries.
When not working or training, Jordyn enjoys backcountry camping/canoeing and taking care of her 11 acre hobby farm.
