Jamie graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2015. She then traveled to Glasgow, Scotland where she completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2018.
As a physiotherapist, Jamie believes that optimizing movement and treating patients from a holistic perspective is the most optimal method of successfully achieving rehabilitation goals. She believes combining manual based treatment techniques with personalized exercise prescription is the best way to help clients reach their fullest potential. Jamie looks forward to continuing her education by taking courses in acupuncture, advanced orthopaedics and manipulative therapy among many more.
Jamie grew up in Holland Landing spending most of her time involved in competitive highland dancing. She was able to combine her passion for dance and physiotherapy in Scotland where she had the opportunity to conduct research on injuries in highland dancers. Her background and research have given her a special interest in treating dance related injuries and looks forward to adding her expertise to the team at Holland Landing Health Centre.
